Tried the southern double cheese burger this time. I was very pleasantly surprised! ********* The catfish was great. I ordered mine without seasoning on anything. The staff is very friendly. I took a lot of food home. The portions are huge. Try it out. I think you will like it! Finally a great catfish place!

Love this place! Stumbled on it driving through the area. Small place, locals seem to love it. I'm not a huge catfish fan, BUT... ordered a piece with my crab cakes (delicious, by the way) and they prep some GREAT catfish here, tender and flakey and lightly breaded - and they made me a fan! Great cole slaw and hush puppies, loaded my wife with lots of okra with her fish. And... oh my, fresh peach fried pie!

Man I do love Sams southern eatery. I have been to a couple of different locations and this one didn’t disappoint. The okra was amazing, just crisp and flavored perfectly. They always do a great job with the fish. This was my first time with the red beans and rice, but it will not be my last. I’d you are looking for a good fish fry give sams a try.

Sizeable portions, friendly staff, and fantastic food. Fish and chicken were fresh, food had great flavor, and we felt our money was well spent. Definitely recommend if you're a fan of southern fried food.

Always amazing. Fish is best in the area and the red beans and rice is great! The batter on their shrimp is also really good and goes well on the Po boy. Most of the staff is awesome and the restaurant is usually fairly clean.

This place has a great vibe, great food, & the staff could not be more pleasant. My burger was fresh, the fried tomatoes & pickles were out quick, & my drink was filled before it got to halfway. I will be back & often!
